Antoine Fouquier-Tinville is a revolutionary lawyer who becomes Public Prosecutor of the Revolutionary Tribunal during the Reign of Terror, prosecuting some of the Revolution’s most famous figures. He is born in Saint-Quentin in Northern France and is the cousin of Camille Desmoulins, who helps him get his job.
