Henry Tudor (1457 – 1509) was the father of the king that is now, Henry VIII. The old king defeated “the scorpion” Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485, ending the Wars of the Roses and establishing the Tudor dynasty.

Week 1: Across the Narrow Sea / Paternity
We learn that the old king took no chances with the Spanish bride to his son and heir, Arthur Tudor. When Arthur died, Henry kept Catherine in miserly conditions while negotiating with her father, “the old fox” Ferdinand. He viewed the marriage alliance as pivotal to securing international backing for his shaky new dynasty. And he even considered marrying the widow Catherine himself.
Week 3: An Occult History of Britain (Part 1)
Before Katherine’s parents would send her to marry into England, they demanded the death of Edward Plantagenet, the White Rose. The last threat to the House of Tudor and a return to civil war. Henry VII capitulated, bringing him out of the Tower to have his head cut off. “But there is always another White Rose”.
