Antoine Saint-Just
a disaffected poet, acquainted with or related to Camille Desmoulins
Louis-Antoine Saint-Just is a Jacobin revolutionary from Picardy who becomes a zealous, driving force on the Committee of Public Safety during the Terror. He is the youngest person to be elected to the National Convention, where he sits with the Mountain and will at one point become president. He is somehow related to Camille Desmoulins, becomes Maximilien Robespierre’s protégé, and has an improbable history as a teen runaway who stole the family silver.
