A man dedicated to the advancement of Danton

Fabre d’Églantine is an actor, ‘a playwright, director, portraitist … a landscape painter, a composer and musician, poet and choreographer’ and a revolutionary. He is a close friend of Georges-Jacques Danton and Camille Desmoulins. He will become president and secretary to the Cordeliers Club, a member of the Jacobin Club, sit in the National Convention and invent the names of the months in the French Republican calendar.
