Jean-François Lacroix is a lawyer from Eure-et-Loir who becomes a deputy to the National Convention and goes ‘on mission’ to Belgium with Georges-Jacques Danton in 1792 and 1793, during which the two become friends. He later sits on the Committee of Public Safety.
