Françoise Duplay

Maurice Duplay's wife. Host to Maximilien Robespierre.

She and her husband Maurice have three daughters, Eléonore, Victoire and Elisabeth, and a son, also called Maurice (as well as another daughter, omitted by Mantel). Maximilien Robespierre lodges with the Duplays, who ardently admire him, after Maurice Duplay shelters him in the aftermath of the Champs de Mars massacre.
