I should say straight away that I have been stunned, delighted and a little bit intimidated by the enormous interest shown in this year’s slow read. This project began three years ago as a little Instagram post, inviting others to join me in a year-long reading of one of my favourite novels.
I never intended or even dreamed that this slow read would reach so many people. But here we are! I am very grateful to everyone joining me on what I hope will be a rich and rewarding adventure.
